0800 043 6644With wonderful undulating greens and pristine fairways, Cork Golf Club stands out as the go-to destination for golfers on a tour of the Co. Cork. Designed by the same man responsible for the superb Augusta National layout in America, Alister Mackenzie, it is not the longest course in the region but his design of narrow fairways and water hazards means that players of all abilities will find it a joy and a challenge to play.
Make this a stop on your trail of southern Ireland's fantastic golf courses, as you experience the delights of Cork and more.
An superbe old fasioned golf designed by the great Allister MaKenzie. The whole club is full of history. Unfortunately the weather was very bad and we had to stop our round. There is a renovation of the course ongoing and the new bunkering is excelend. I hope to come banck and play the course in normal conditions. Then the spectacular vieuws along the river and the stonegraves will come to life.
A bit old designed hotel where many holes crossing each others but in overall it is ok but not recommended to travel to play it.
One of the better courses I have played in the world from a setting and creative design around the golf quarry point of view. Different and engaging. Will talk about it.
A great course. Holes 3 -13 are spectacular. Would definitely return. A hidden gem.
It’s very different than Old Head, but it’s a great golf course, we had three very good young caddies.
One of our best golfing experiences. From the greeting in the professional’s shop to the course, to the clubhouse itself, we felt very comfortable and the course varied, at times tricky. Condition was immaculate and greens fast and true. Up there with the best. Played in wet and windy weather over 10 of the 18 holes.
Sadly drizzle all day
The only course that asked for our "voucher", which we didn't have (we had a copy of our itinerary with reference numbers, which we left with them). Nevertheless we got off on time (in fact a bit early). Despite the rain the day before, the course was in a perfect state (and we were almost dry too...). Quirky layout with crossing fairways, teeing off over the previous green etc. but a nice "members" feel to it. Felt on the level of Deerpark, competing for 2nd best course of the 5 we played. Good homemade lunch in clubhouse afterwards.
Great course with some great views, traditional member's club but very welcoming
