Golf Courses at Golf De Chantilly

Vinieuil Course

Regarded by many as one of Europe's very best, the Vinieuil Course is a demanding layout formulated by the esteemed Tom Simpson in 1909. Reminiscent of the great woodland and heathland courses of southern England, the Vinieuil has a discernible British accent, and is a genuine championship test.

Just shy of 7,000 yards at its peak, the magnificent layout is a remarkable golfing experience that is not to be missed by any serious golfer.

Longere Course

Though it is Chantilly's second course, there is little to mark the Longères as inferior to its better established neighbour. Also close to 7,000 yards, the par-73 proposition demands good ball striking but is more forgiving than the celebrated Vinieuil Course.

I currently live in France and so getting to play some of the incredible courses in the region is fantastic. Chantilly is a heathland style which reminds me of a few tracks in both Surrey/Hampshire - such as Woburn. The gated entrance adds to that feel of playing somewhere special, a bit like Royal Saint Georges and the course provide free range balls for a warm up before the game on a superb driving range. To play here men must wear trousers, as shorts are not allowed even with long socks.

Be sure to get a yardage book as there are a few doglegs and blind tee shots!
