Out of 7 of us only 2 of us played due to the very wet weather .Waterproofs and umbrella at the ready it proved to be a fantastic experience -we finished off at the eye watering 11th . So glad we got these holes in .

The best condition I have seen it. A very strong contender for the best Hardelot course. Tees, fairways and greens were all in perfect condition given the time of year (October) and the clubhouse is always a treat with the stunning balcony overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green.

We have played Les Pins many times before and unfortunately this is the worst condition we have seen it in. The fairways look as if they have been scorched in the sun and then no effort has been made to recover the grass. The greens were decent surfaces and the tee boxes were also good. The clubhouse was having some work done so we were not able to use the bar or the restaurant which was disappointing.

The course was in an absolutely shocking condition, fairways were bald and very muddy, temporary green on hole 11 not very well thought out, a lot of drainage work being carried out on multiple holes. The tee boxes were in good condition and the some of the greens were good. All in all very disappointed considering what you have to pay for a round here, would think twice before booking here again we have played on better municipal courses in the UK

The course was very good. However the admin there was poor. They had not reserved the buggies we asked for and had emailed YGT on the Wednesday prior to our game there to say they had no buggies. We took exception and after about 20 minutes got the buggies as they had been ordered months ago. No apology offered.

The tee time we were given, following a large group in a competition made the round very slow. We had to finish in the 15th so that we got to our accommodation in time for dinner. We also had to wait almost 3 hours before we teed off - very disappointing. Some damage remains to the fairways after the hot summer.

Fairways were patchy but put this down to the drought summer. Greens were very challenging and fast. Sandy soil and number of trees meant straying from the fairways was high risk. Good variety of holes and some particularly lovely little par 3’s. Buggies were EUR 40 for 18 holes. Speed of play was good. Club house afterwards was very quiet. I believe there was a driving range but we didn’t see it. N.B this course is a 40 minutes or so from Le Touquet so worth doing it last on the way back to Calais.

They have swapped the 1st and 10th round and actually it makes no difference. Its been 5 years since i played and alot of trees have been taken out, and that must make it better for light getting to the course....also if your ball goes on the trees we found it every time. Very pleased to be back....still a very good test and i STILL havent made 4 on the 18th EVER....AND I STILL SHOT 78!!!....HA

This was our favourite course of our Golf Trip which included Les Dunes and La Mer. The course itself was in fine condition with immaculate fairways and good greens. Its a great layout which reminds me alot of Camberley Heath or The Berkshire in style. Will definitely be back again next year as we love it here.

We were 2 mins late because of traffic so didn't get a very friendly reception so two of us without buggies skipped the first. The course is fantastic to look at. A truly beautiful setting and the weather was great so thoroughly enjoyable as the group behind us were slow and we virtually had the course to ourselves. They are let down by the state of their bunkers which were tatty and the sand hadn't been raked for weeks.The greens were OK but had been dressed so could have been better. The clubhouse restaurant food and staff were excellent, so overall a great experience and we will be back

I've been going to Hardelot Pines for 20 years and this is the worst condition I've seen it in. It's been closed for renovation and it seems it wasn't ready for reopening. Avoid going or 3 months and I'm sure it'll recover. It would be useful if Your Golf Travel had informed us of the state of the course as we would have chosen to play La Mer twice instead.

Played on 23/10. I can’t recall playing a nicer course in Europe?! Play off of the whites and you better have your ‘A’ game! Alternatively, if you’re a group of higher handicappers (you need to be 15 or below to play off of the whites) then play off of the yellow tees and experience a decent, but fairer test whilst taking in the beautiful scenery! Good practice range and nice clubhouse with your usual selection of toasted sandwiches and burgers.

Our party of eight senior golfers required four buggies but when we arrived all of them were already out on the course We waited three hours for two to become available leaving the fit to hire a pull trolley. Not much fun on a wet hilly course As the organiser I wasn’t advised by Your Golf Travel that I should have contacted all the courses that we were going to play and pre book I strongly suggest that in future the travel company do this at the time they reserve t times or give the lead organisers the e mail address of the golf clubs for them to do so because we had the same problem at all four of the courses on our trip

We love this course! It's a parkland course with many challenging and memorable holes kept in superb condition. We played this year fairly early in the morning (0830 is September) with the dew still on the ground, a bit of morning mist still in the air and the sunlight filtering through the pines. A truly magical environment in which to play golf. The first is a great uphill hole to a tricky two tier green and the last is a magnificent par 4 finishing over a lake underneath the clubhouse terrace. Two really good golf holes with another 16 super holes in between. The bar is brilliant with a great view over the first and last holes and the food and service were first-class. If you're golfing in Northern France this is definitely a course not to be missed. (we can't comment on value for money because our rounds were part of a package but we just love it and we are sure it would rate a 'great' in terms of value)

We were told that they had hollow tined all of the greens and dressed them with sand the day before we played putting was a lottery not we would expect for a course of that stature and the cost we paid for a round if i had not already paid would have played elsewhere or at least got a discount on the round. The facilities same as Le pins not good the food was pretty dire i would recommend drive into Hardelot and have lunch there.

An outstanding course marred only by very slow mixed four ball that didn’t seem to value the requirement to let faster groups through! They were practicing chipping and putting without a care in the world. Apart from that (which can’t be helped) top class course and layout with very fast and great condition greens...we will be back definitely

Our enjoyment of this course was curtailed by the condition of the greens. They looked like they had experienced some sort of problem and consequently were patchy with uneven growth and slow. The layout was excellent with some interesting and challenging holes. Very picturesque. I would definitely play it again provided the problem with the greens had been resolved.

Still some areas of 'waste' which are just sandy areas, which if you get in are difficult to get out if you are lying in a cart track or footprint. Having said that the course is improving compared to a couple of years ago, but overall not sure the changes made, to say, 5 years ago, have been worth while! We would come back again.

I think that was the most enjoyable round of golf I ever played. The course is absolutely stunning. Millionaires golf. As with the Pines the greens and fairways were perfect. The weather was warm and slightly overcast. Sometimes it was hot but there was a refreshing breeze and the whole course travels through a pine-wood so there is intermittent shade. In fact calling it Les Dunes is misleading as there are more pines than at Les Pins! We started at midday and the couple in front of us invited us to go through but we were in no hurry. It was hilly. One hole late on, forgotten which, has you going up a steep hill. The eighteenth is spectacular. You have to hit your second shot across, or around, the large pond. We both went over it, my mate choosing the wrong club, managed to find the water. I, also choosing the wrong club, went much too far over it. But what a great golf course and what a fabulous time we had. It might be very different if its very windy and raining but, for us, it was perfect. YourGolfTravel organised the golf side of it so credit to them. We will certainly use them again.

Les Pins is a wonderful course. We played at 14h00. After taking Eurotunnel at 8h20 and going to our gite in Montreuil we had plenty of time to take the small roads to the golf course. We bought a bucket of balls and had 20 minutes at the practise ground then set off. It was an absolute pleasure. There was neither any rush nor were we held up. It was my first time there so was pleased that I played to my handicap. I stupidly forgot my 9 iron at a green but back at the clubhouse whilst we were having our drinks, the very helpful and pleasant woman at the desk came over and presented me with it. I am not a seasoned golfer so was delighted with the whole experience.

Simply put, a top, top class course. Fairways, Tees and Greens were immaculate. Visually stunning too. The rough punished on occasion but they've got the balance just right on being forgiving enough too. So many memorable holes, with challenging bunker placements. The re-worked 18th green behind the water has given the signature finish the course deserves.

Les Pins course is one of the best courses I have ever played. Every hole is stunning ! And what an area to play golf in Hardelot was ! Beautiful! Fairways and greens were in great condition. Sand in the bunkers was a bit low but they were proper hazards ! Lovely clubhouse and sports bar and very friendly staff !

This layout is fantastic, even more so now with the work done. Unfortunately we were not informed there would be a hole out of action and a temporary green, this ended up affecting us on 3 holes which was massively disappointing. I emphasised to my YGT salesman regarding any 'heavy' course maintenance to which we was told there was not. Very frustrating as the full course is very special.

Despite being rated in the top ten courses in France, we found Pins to be the poor relation of the two courses with Dunes far superior. Lots of people on the course so the round slowed badly towards the end. An enjoyable day but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it again.

I had been looking forward to this course for a while after seeing Rory, Crossfield, Lockey and Dan play it on the VLOGs, and I was not disappointed at all in person. Played in amongst the pine trees, it is a spectacular setting, and a real treat for any handicapper. The course itself plays a bit like the Dukes at Woburn or Kings Lynn GC - tree lined fairways which favours accuracy off the tee, but if you are wayward it is very difficult to lose golf balls despite all those trees ... Some of the bunkers are huge and challenging to get out of, and the greens run very true but again have great undulation to them. The front 9 holes play tighter than the back 9 holes, with the signature hole being the risk reward par 4 15th. Great course and I will be looking to get back there asap.
