The course and the staff were amazing and I can see why this is booked for the Ryder Cup. Well worth a visit. Only thing is to be careful with Golf Travel they told me both tee times were 11am each day and when I phoned the course this was not correct and we nearly missed the tee times. Would definitely visit again not sure I would book through golf travel though. I phone them to confirm tee times and they returned my call on the last day of our trip. They are good until you book with them then never contact you about any changes
Marco Simone Golf Club is located just 30 minutes northeast of Rome and boasts a glorious championship standard golf course. The headline layout at the club is the Ryder Cup Course and in 2023 it is set to become only the 3rd course on continental Europe to host arguably golf's biggest tournament; the Ryder Cup.
The fact it is due to host the Ryder Cup is testament to how good the course is and proves it really is a gem in Italy’s golfing crown. Throughout the round golfers are treated to unrivalled views of the stunning natural landscape with the course being one of the most aesthetically pleasing in the region with beautiful lakes and the Marco Simone Castle being the backdrop to some of the holes.
Marco Simone Golf Club has a superb 19th hole where guests are treated to panoramic views and is the perfect setting for a couple of post round beers.
